When I came here, I did not expect to be here long. I thought that it would be easy to simply graduate an inmate and then leave. I did not realize how hard it was to change the ways of mortals, and I did not realize how much worse it would be with people leaving, or being taken.

Then I worried that the Admiral may have been lying, and I stayed after Edgar graduated. I did not expect what happened next, but now I understand why.

I am done here. I am sorry to those who I have hurt, and I hope that you are able to leave here soon.

The gardens should prosper, even in my absence. I have fortified them.

[He's both glad and sad to hear that she graduated. But he does come around almost immediately.

After all these floods and breaches, and seeing alternate versions of people, he still thinks that somehow there's a little bit of his daughter in there. Knowing she'll live and be free is comforting.

[Persephone stepped away and moved towards her garden, and she picked up one of the plants that was there. The flowers were small, and white, and iridescent, and they were shaped like stars.]

I made this. [Pride in her tone.] For you to remember me by.

Those are very pretty. [He sounds impressed as he takes them.] Are they a particular type, or are they something all their own?

They are all their own. I made them to remind you of me. They are like stars and flowers and they glow slightly under light.

They should last forever, but water them often. They enjoy water.
