I do not understand how things work here. There is no equality, no fairness and no justice. When one person does something, they become an outcast, they become hated and they are reviled. When another does it, they face no consequences. I suppose it is a very human way to behave.
It is funny; I did not expect to like being a human so much. The little ones were better than the grown ones. Tell me stories of your childhoods, mortals. I would be interested in hearing them.
[Private to Coyo]
Are you well?

Coyolxauhqui smiled,] You must have been a very sweet child.

It would be a very long time before she knew for certain if the son of Hermes had been truly bested.]
I was a terror. I am simply glad that Neil Howie was a better parent than he was a mortal.
[There was no real animosity in her tone; she trusted him now. Well, a bit.]
I do not like the world, though. There was an evil thing there I wish to destroy.

She would have asked more about Neil Howie and the port, but then she mentioned something evil. Coyolxauhqui took a slight step back and cocked her head to one side.]
An evil thing?

The plants will hold it so that it will not be able to escape. I do not ever want it to escape.

If it escapes, tell me. [She reached out to give her friend a reassuring touch on the arm.] I will destroy it for you.
