[Persephone looks rather not good. She's mortal now, and has been avoiding eating pretty much unless Seven's been making her eat. Damn that whole pomegranate thing. However, here she is sitting in the dining room, and there's a plate of food in front of her. She holds up a finger for a moment, telling people to wait, and then she touches a rather normal looking piece of chicken. As she does so, it turns into a delcious looking piece of chocolate cake. Quickly she pokes it with a fork and takes a bite from it and makes a happy little sound. Talking with her mouthful, Persephone adds.]

This is not normally my power, Doctor, but I thank you for it anyway.

I'm going to bring you some pills to swallow with some water. They're called vitamins. They'll give you what your mortal form requires until you're capable of eating more than cake.

They don't grow anything, no. They're small but they're essentially just capsules of minerals. Closer to stones that your body can use.

I am. I am also using the horrible shower thing.

I do not approve of my hair not working correctly though.

I doubt anyone approves of that. Apparently my next incarnation is gifted with the ability to manage his. I despise him already for it.

I'm going to. Slowly. Until then you have to take care of yourself as a mortal would. At the end of the month, you'll have the option to either refrain from eating, or maintain your divine appearance. One or the other.

But now you know what they go through. Every day for them is like this. And even if they grow used to it, spend all of their lives in such a state, it remains difficult and never becomes easier with age. If anything their forms produce more problems.

The difference is that they have not spent millennia not needing to do this. They are born too it and taught to do it every day of their lives. It is their natural state decreed by the gods.
