[Persephone is sitting in the garden and she's surrounded by a large amount of violets. She looks much better now than she did before, but she clearly is angry about something.]

It is too bad that my sister is gone. She would have loved this Valentine's Day.

[Persephone slowly picked up a violet, and the stem curled around her finger in a manner that was a bit like a snake.]

You know, most mortals do not give plants the respect that they deserve. Without plants mortals would not even be able to breathe, let alone eat. Plants bring you life, and yet you do horrible things to them. You do not treat them with respect. You cut them without care. [The last bit is said directly into the camera and Persephone's look is flinty.]

But plants speak if you can hear them. They will whisper secrets to you. They will tell you who is good to them and who is not. They will tell you who walks among them.

[A beat and then Persephone pulls back away from the camera a bit.]

This is very true. Mortals... they never know what they have until it is gone.

The magical plants can, others I have not met. I imagine that they would.

Yeah. They don't sometimes. [So very, painfully true. Maybe trying to talk was a bad idea. But now he's started the conversation...]

I hope they would. I can't imagine they'd be all that different.

I wouldn't know what to ask for. [Kind of mumbled.] That is unless you would like something and then I could ask around. [The hell is he doing, even?]

Perhaps you could ask those aliens aboard? The Lords of Time have interesting plants, I expect.

I saw their world in the CES, or at least a facsimile of it. It was a beautiful place. The trees had silver leaves and there were two suns, and the sky was orange. And it was warm.

[He probably should be careful talking about it, Time Lords are prone to double-heart-sickness, he's noticed. But at the same time, he wants to share the experience in some small way.]
